Second Nature Academy

  Second Nature Academy is a private elementary school for children in grades Pre-K through Grade 6.  We are located in South Nashua, NH/Dunstable, MA on 22 acres of farmland and forest complete with manicured trails, a pond, fields, wetlands, and a bog.  In addition, we are located adjacent to 350 acres of conservation land set aside for recreational and educational use.  Using a green curriculum model, our dedicated staff fosters the childhood development and guides children through the learning process of core curriculum areas through the study of wildlife, plant life, habitats, ecosystems, farming, and biodiversity.  We also offer field trips for home school groups and other elementary schools.

 

At Second Nature Academy, we are committed to fostering an appreciation for our natural world and to building a sustainable community through innovative approaches to learning.  We strive to provide a learning environment that enables children to experience success in all curriculum areas through the use of an integrated, multi-sensory curriculum.  It is our belief that  children do not rely on any single intelligence, but must summon several to attain a goal.   Therefore, we provide many varied instructional methods in order to create a more diverse learning climate.
