Our Community
The Nature of Things, LLC is a multifaceted educational community of educators, learners, families, farmers, and volunteers with shared beliefs and attitudes. We share a common commitment to a set of ideals that support sustainability, life-long learning skills, service learning, collaborative learning, problem solving, humane education, and altruism. Together we work as a community to establish relationships with each other and our natural world, to cultivate a sense of belonging, and to instill a sense of wonder and curiosity.
The Nature of Things, LLC is comprised of:
- Nature’s Pathways Early Learning Center
- 2nd Nature Academy Elementary School
- Nature’s Adventures Science Center and Nature Programs
- Camp Lovewell
- The animal barn, greenhouse, and gardens
Our Staff
Our personnel include teachers, childcare providers, camp counselors, chefs, carpenters, horseback riding instructors, managers and entrepreneurs. We strive to bring the best talent that fits the mission and philosophy of the Nature of Things. The staff at the Nature of Things is prompt, pro-active, friendly, and accomodating. Our reputation is applauded by our clients and we owe that to our dedicated staff. Our teaching personnel have a broad knowledge of subject matter, curriculm, and standards.
